Being a convert, I did have to work my way through some issues that I had picked up in the secular world--abortion, women priests, the death penalty, to name a few. I have als
o found that the Truth, in its fullness, is contained within the Catholic Church--every time. Not only that, but the Wisdom and Beauty of Christ's teachings are so profound, so compassionate and so respectful of human dignity, that any secular arguments completely dissipate and are blown away like so much chaff.It is heartening to see others acknowledge the Truth of Pope Benedict's words.
